Education

 

Schooling is done on an independent basis in a classroom setting. The Calvert School and Oak Meadows School curriculum and lessons are used. Each student is self-paced and monitored by on-site certified teachers. The students are in classes five days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students also have physical education classes and reading time throughout the day. During the summer months students participate in musical sessions, horsemanship classes, and many other fun activities. Students have the opportunity to put on a skit for family and friends during the Christmas season. Each student has a part in the skit and has lines to memorize. Some students showcase their individual talents by performing musical solos. Students have access to a full sized gym for physical education classes as well as for fun games.
